After dating for nearly two years, Elon Musk and his singer girlfriend Grimes may be expecting a baby. The news was released by Grimes on Wednesday in an Instagram post that has since been taken down.

Grimes, 31, who has dubbed herself “c” – the symbol for the speed of light – posted a topless photo on the social media platform, which was captured by Entertainment Tonight, with what appeared to be a baby bump.

Grimes confirmed that she was “knocked up” in the comments of the post when a user commented that she didn’t censor her nipples in the photo.

Grimes replied to the poster, “I thought about censoring them for a hot minute haha (this may get taken down anyway) but the photo is so much less feral without the nipples. Plus being knocked up is a very feral & war-like state of being. Might as well be what it is.”

She went on to say in the post, “Plus most of my friends told me not to post them so then I was afflicted with reverse psychology. Interrogated my shame on it and decided it was sum weird internalized self hatred to feel uncomfortable abt my body. Hope ur having a nice day!"

Musk and Grimes have been dating since 2018 and were recently seen together at The Game Awards, where she performed her new song, "4AEM," Musk gave a standing ovation to the performance as the camera panned to the crowd, capturing the proud soon-to-be father.

The couple has rarely been seen in public, but rumors have circulated that she was cybergirl in the Tesla Cybertruck launch event. Musk and Grimes first walked the red carpet at the Met Gala in May 2018, after sharing a similar interest in artificial intelligence.

While the couple rarely speaks about their relationship, Musk told Rolling Stone back in November 2017, that “It's so hard for me to even meet people. I'm looking for a long-term relationship. I'm not looking for a one-night stand. I'm looking for a serious companion or soulmate, that kind of thing."
