George and Amal Clooney's marriage is not in trouble despite a report claiming that the couple is fighting over the actor's alleged excessive spending habits. A Star magazine report falsely claimed that Amal is not too pleased with George because of the amount of money the "Money Monster" actor spends.

“He thinks nothing of dropping tens of thousands at a time on designer suits, jewelry, antiques. It’s gotten way out of control and Amal’s grossed out by it,” a source told the magazine. “[He’s] so used to his Hollywood-type girlfriends demanding nothing but luxury over the years, he assumed Amal would require the same.”

The insider claimed that the 41-year-old Lebanese-British attorney is considering to control the actor’s habit by giving him a limited allowance. However, there is no truth in the claims. The report was also debunked by Gossip Cop.

This is not the first time rumors surfaced about a marriage crisis for the two celebrities. National Enquirer published a report last month claiming that George allegedly got his ex-girlfriend Stacy Keibler pregnant around the same time he started dating Amal. However, the rumors about a marriage crisis and the "love child" scandal are not true.

In March, reports claimed that Amal and George were heading for a split as they were fighting too much and things between them deteriorated forcing them to part ways. However, these claims were also untrue. George and Amal were not having “nasty arguments” for months.

Recently, the couple was seen together hand-in-hand heading for dinner with friends at their lavish Lake Como residence. The Clooneys were accompanied by fashion designer Stella McCartney, 47, and her husband Alasdhair Willis.
