A recent report claimed singer Gwen Stefani loved that her kids were growing close to her beau Blake Shelton but also wanted them to maintain an equally good bond with their father, Gavin Rossdale — a rumor that was debunked.

The tabloid that tried spinning the false narrative was Hollywood Life, with its article titled, “Gwen Stefani Loves How Close Blake Shelton Is To Her Kids But Still Wants Bond With Gavin Rossdale.”

In the article, an anonymous source told the tabloid Stefani wanted her three sons, Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4, to understand that no one — not even Shelton — can replace the bond they share with their father.

“Gwen loves how close the kids are with Blake but she also understands the bond they share with their dad and she really encourages it,” the questionable insider claimed. “Gavin is based a lot of the time in London but he does make time to be in L.A. so he can see the kids, he’s still a big part of their lives. It’s so important to Gwen that her kids continue to have a solid relationship with their dad so she’s very flexible when it comes to sharing time with Gavin, on holidays and all through the year too.”

However, the information provided by the so-called tipster was by no means accurate, as Rossdale’s Instagram account proves the rock band leader normally stays in California except when he leaves on his music tours. This meant he did not “make time” to visit his kids so much as happened to be in the same place as them.

“The co-parenting agreement that Gavin and Gwen worked out was that they would alternate holidays, but it’s been much more loose than that and they actually try to make sure the kids spend time with both of them during the holiday season,” the source continued. “So far there haven’t been any big dramas or struggles over the kids and holidays and Gwen is very grateful for that, she’s happy with the way things are working out.”

The article concluded with fueling another baseless rumor which claimed Stefani and Shelton were planning to have a baby through surrogacy — a report that was debunked recently.

Gossip Cop reached out to Stefani’s spokesperson who rubbished Hollywood Life’s story, just like the couple’s made-up surrogacy plan was debunked.
