T.J. Holmes reportedly feels distressed over being portrayed as a "predator," and social media users have mixed opinions about it.

Holmes made headlines last year after photos surfaced of him engaging in PDA with his "GMA3" co-star Amy Robach while they were both married to other people. The scandal got them suspended and eventually fired from their ABC show.

After news broke of the alleged affair, several reports then claimed that Holmes allegedly cheated on his now-estranged wife Marilee Fiebig with several other co-workers at ABC — a producer, a junior staffer in her mid-20s and a "low-level staffer" going by the pseudonym "Sascha" who recently spoke with The Cut.

An anonymous insider told Page Six that Holmes is reportedly "completely distraught" by how the coverage of his alleged extramarital affairs has affected his reputation and portrayed him as a predator.

"He has a daughter. He hates that he's been painted as this predator," the source claimed of Holmes, who shares 10-year-old daughter Sabine with Fiebig as well as daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with ex-wife Amy Ferson.

The insider claimed that while Holmes has been putting on a brave face, the reports are allegedly causing him a great deal of distress.

While the journalist has yet to address the multiple affair allegations, some Twitter users appeared to agree that Holmes' alleged actions were predatory if they were indeed true.

"Icky eww gross. T.J. Holmes seems like a total predator. Walking into work every day on the hunt for new prey. It's silly if Amy Robach really thinks she's an exception," one person tweeted.

"What is the difference between Matt Lauer and T.J. Holmes? ABC supports predators allowing the behavior to thrive," another tweeted. Lauer was fired from "Today" in 2017 over allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.

"Well now that he's known as T.J. 'The Predator' Holmes maybe that giddy smile and laugh will disappear from his smug, arrogant face. Dude isn't smiling now with that label. Gets exactly what he deserves. Are he and Amy Robach still setting up those photo ops for the paparazzi?" a third commenter opined.

However, others appeared to suggest that Holmes didn't deserve the predator allegations even if the alleged workplace affairs did take place.

"T.J. is far from being a predator. Y'all need to [stop] blaming 'Blacks' for satisfying the desires of your 'lustful sexual relations,'" one wrote with laughing emojis.

"They're trying to say T.J. Holmes was a predator because they witnessed him having an affair with an intern. I think using the word predator is a bit much. They knew he was a married man! They're adults, they made a decision. TJ was a cheater and didn't value the vows in his marriage," another wrote.

"Why are they calling T.J. Holmes a predator because he had sex with a 24-year-old intern? Was it consensual? She's grown," another tweeted.

In January, Daily Mail reported, citing a "well-placed" source who spoke on condition of anonymity, that Holmes allegedly had a months-long affair in 2015 with then-24-year-old Jasmin Pettaway, a script coordinator 13 years his junior who had reached out to him as a prospective mentor.

"He was a predator who took full advantage of his position, and he was reckless," the insider alleged. "It was Jasmin's first real job in television, and it was a big deal for her. She was looking for a mentor, and she reached out to several people. T.J. was someone who was responsive, but he absolutely abused the position of trust."

A new report from The Cut detailed another alleged office affair involving Holmes. A woman, to whom the magazine assigned the pseudonym "Sascha," alleged to the magazine that she and Holmes would have sex in his office when she was a digital news associate working the overnight shift. Page Six also previously reported on the alleged affair.

Sascha said she came forward because Robach and Holmes' viral story made her question her own relationship with the news anchor. She claimed that power dynamics never crossed her mind during the alleged affair.

"I didn't even think about power dynamics. I thought I was special," she reportedly told The Cut.

She told the magazine that she didn't feel animosity toward Holmes until his other alleged affairs were reported. "I was just part of a pattern," she claimed.

International Business Times could not independently verify the reports.
