  • Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown began a relationship in 2019
  • Cameron said they continue to have respect for each other despite the split
  • He said he showed nothing, but love when he talked about Brown in his book

Tyler Cameron has spoken up about ex-girlfriend Hannah Brown’s memoir, "God Bless This Mess," which included their last texts.

During his Monday appearance on “The Bellas Podcast” with Brie and Nikki Bella, Cameron addressed the way his ex recounted their relationship during her season of “The Bachelorette” in 2019, and the last text he sent her before the breakup.

“I’ve got receipts, too,” said Cameron. He, however, clarified where their relationship stands today, saying they continue to respect each other despite their split.

“First of all you’re gonna see the level of respect we have for each other. The way I talked about her in my book, showed nothing but love. We’ll see how she talks about me in her book,” he added.

Cameron also wished Brown success in her new endeavor. “I hope she’s happy. I hope she’s successful,” he said. “She’s writing a book. She’s gotta sell books. She’s gotta make headlines. Sell them books.”

Earlier this month, ET spoke to Brown about her revelations in the book, specifically about her relationship with Cameron and the last text he had sent her prior to their split. “His last poetic words to me were, ‘Well, if you rock with me, you rock with me. If you don’t, you don’t.’ I wish I was making that up,” said Brown at the time.

She also revealed the text from Cameron was one of their final conversations, although he was aware of the book and has read some parts of it. “I was like, ‘Look, I’m talking about this. This was a part of my life and it’s a part of our relationship. He’s seen some of it, but I’ve been working on this for a long time, so he definitely hasn’t seen the final edits of it all,” she added.

Brown also said she and her ex have continued to respect each other, and the relationship they have had, but at the same time, they’re both “just going different directions and maybe want different things at this time in life.” She also revealed while they’re not hostile with each other, they haven’t spoken since she wrote the book. “I am rooting for him and I think he’s rooting for me too,” she told the outlet.
