“Undone” Season 2 hasn’t been announced yet, but given the popularity of the show that may be a mere formality at this point. The fact is that there are just too many unanswered questions that the fans would want answers to, and the possibilities are endless when it comes to the storylines that can explored in the TV series.

Will there be another season of “Undone”? Cast members Rosa Salazar, who played the role of Alma Winograd-Diaz, was ambiguous about the future in an interview with Vulture recently. The actress pointed out that the show could continue, but at the same time the producers could leave the story where it is and let the audience figure out the unsolved mysteries on their own.

Personally, however, Salazar hopes that the show will continue. Just like the fans, she wants to know “so much more” about the characters and the storylines that were featured in the first season.

Some of the mysteries that “Undone” Season 2 can explore are who killed Alma’s father? Can she really travel back in time? What happens if she travels back in time and stops the murder? Are the stories all based in real world or are they because of schizophrenia?

According to Bustle, if the show chooses to explore the time travel aspect, then the possibilities are infinite for Season 2. The show can also further explore the mental health issue that has been the main theme of the series.

One aspect that the show can focus on if it gets renewed is the evolution of Alma as a woman, Screen Rant reported. Her personal trauma can be the source of the conflict that will push the character forward.

When will Amazon renew the show? The company may take a few weeks time to see the popularity of the show and check how the critics react before taking a decision. If the renewal is announced, the fans can expect “Undone” Season 2 to be released by late 2020 or early 2021.
