UPtv’s Christmas season continues on Sunday with its second new holiday movie of 2018, “Chandler Christmas Getaway.” The premiere, which stars Malinda Williams (Marci), Victoria Rowell (Stephanie), GregAlan Williams (Donald) and DeEtta West (Myra), is the fifth film in the Chandler family Christmas series.

In the latest installment, the family’s ready for another adventure.

“Not finding any Christmas spirit during a hot December, the Chandlers pack up and head to a cabin for maximum holiday fun,” the synopsis shares. “But with old feuds, new feuds and a heap of holiday stress, the Chandler family will have to pull together to make this the best Christmas ever.

The franchise kicked off in 2013 with “Marry Me for Christmas,” before being followed up by 2014’s “Marry Us for Christmas,” 2015’s “A Baby for Christmas” and 2016’s “Merry Christmas, Baby.” The Chandlers took 2017 off, but they’re back this year for some more holiday fun. This is just the second of seven new movies airing on UPtv this Christmas season.

“At UPtv, we celebrate families through uplifting and inspiring stories,” Amy Winter, general manager and executive VP of UPtv, said. “Our Christmas programming slate has something for everyone - whether viewers are looking for great movies about the true meaning of Christmas, the heart and humor that comes along with family or just a little holiday romance, UPtv invites you to join us this holiday season.”

Aside from the all-new premieres, UPtv’s also airing five Christmas titles that are brand new to the network, although some viewers might have already seen them elsewhere. The first one, “My Santa,” came on last week, while the second, “A Husband for Christmas,” airs immediately after “Chandler Christmas Getaway.”

The rest of the movies — “A Christmas Cruise,” “A Christmas in Vermont” and “A Fairytale Christmas” — will continue to air on Sundays at 9 p.m. EST until they’ve all been broadcast. If you prefer your movies to be broken up by TV shows, then UP is making sure you're satisfied as well. The network will be airing all seven seasons of “Gilmore Girls” from start to finish between Nov. 19 and Nov. 25.

Start off the fun with “Chandler Christmas Getaway” when it premieres on UPtv on Sunday at 7 p.m. EST.
