The Netherlands stands in the way of the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team reaching the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup. If the USMNT manages to pull off the upset in the Round of 16, an even more difficult match could await the team in the next round.

Argentina or Australia will follow the Netherlands on the USA's 2022 World Cup schedule, in the event that the Americans win their first knockout stage match. The USA and Netherlands are set to face off Saturday in Qatar. Four hours after their match starts, Argentina and Australia will go head-to-head in the Round of 16. Argentina is viewed as the likely winner of Saturday's match since it is a massive -2000 favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook over Australia.

Only World Cup favorite Brazil has better odds to win the tournament than Argentina. Lionel Messi led Argentina with a pair of goals on its way to winning Group C with a 2-1 record. Argentina ended group play with consecutive 2-0 shutouts over Mexico and Poland.

Australia advanced to the knockout stage by finishing second in the Group D standings behind reigning champion France. Australia also went 2-1, clinching a spot in the Round of 16 by blanking both Denmark and Tunisia 1-0. France defeated Australia 4-1 in their World Cup opener.

Argentina isn't upset proof. In its first match in Qatar, the team suffered one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history by losing to Saudi Arabia 2-1.

The USA tied Wales and England before beating Iran in its final match of Group play. The Americans are +192 underdogs to beat the Netherlands and reach the quarterfinals.
