The new version of the hit game will also support immersive 3D audio with compatible headphones and detailed haptic feedback possible with the PS5’s new DualSense controller.

Alongside technical details, Sony revealed that the remaster will include three new suits for players to unlock, including one demanded by players for a while: “The Amazing Suit,” modeled after the one worn by Andrew Garfield in 2012’s “The Amazing Spider-Man.”

“Spider-Man Remastered” will be included for free for those who purchase the “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” Ultimate Edition on PS5. The new game is also coming to PS4 and will offer an upgrade to the PS5 version for free, but this method will not include the remastered older title. To make all of this extra confusing, the original PS4 version of “Spider-Man” will be playable on PS5 thanks to backward compatibility.
