A puzzle is about to unfold among a group of strangers based on the first trailer for the mystery anthology series “Dispatches From Elsewhere.” AMC has released the teaser of Jason Segel’s new series, which he created and stars in.

The show, according to TVLine, focuses on four people who are mysteriously brought together after finding a puzzle hidden in plain sight through the facets of everyday life. Based on the teaser, this group has no idea what’s going on, but they’ve got some ideas. The mystery though goes far deeper than they originally thought, opening their eyes “to a world of possibility and magic.”

Entertainment Weekly reports that the series is based on Games of Nonchalance and content made by Nonchalance, a group in San Francisco who "explore different parts of their city by finding clues weaved into fantasy stories written for individual episodes." The game previously formed the basis of a 2013 documentary called “The Institute.”

AMC originally picked up the series in 2018 with Segel being one of the stars on the program. The rest of the cast has a range of talent including Sally Field, Richard E. Grant, and Andre Benjamin.

Segel is also an executive producer on the upcoming series along with Garrett Basch, Scott Rudin, and Eli Bush.

An exact date wasn't given for its release, but expect to see “Dispatches From Elsewhere” airs on AMC sometime in 2020.
