Madonna brought down the Lucas Oil Stadium at the Super Bowl Halftime Show 2012, reclaiming her throne as Queen of Pop.

Madonna performed in only the way a queen would - coming out on a throne, carried by a crew of ripped, muscular minions. She then sang her way into Vogue. Though she started off a bit slow, the 53-year-old veteran showed off her real moves when Music started. She did back flips and yoga poses.

She then climbed onto the shoulders of LMFAO and sang I'm sexy and I know it.

Madonna was joined by Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. for a rendition of her latest single Give Me Your Luvin'. She finished the show with Cee-Lo Green on Like a Prayer, in a duet backed by a choir. Madonna was dressed in a glittering black choir gown and sang like it was her last performance.

Prior to Super Bowl Halftime Show 2012 Madonna exclaimed her excitement to the press. I am so excited to be here [and] incredibly nervous, she told reporters. This is a Midwestern girl's dream, to be performing the Super Bowl Halftime, so if I speak fast or run out of breath, you'll know why. Because of the immense exposure, the Detroit native is doing this one for free. Instead of a paycheck, she will get free promotion for her new album MDNA, out March 26.

As someone who has traveled the world and has been one of the most famous stars of the last 30 years, Madonna said that the Super Bowl Halftime Show 2012 will be one of her proudest moments, especially for her father. I'm sure of all the things I've ever done in my life, this will be the thing he's most excited about, she said.

I was raised in the Midwest, and he is the personification of Midwestern values. He gave me the work ethic that I have, so if I'm a hard-working girl that never stops, it's because of him.
