Another season of “The Amazing Race” is about to come to an end, and after a 19-month hiatus because of COVID-19 that saw a handful of teams unable to return and really changed up which teams seemed more likely to make it to the final, the winners of Season 33 will be able to finally acknowledge their win. The question on many fans’ minds, of course, is which team will be successful.

After teams were forced to cut their race short after only three legs before they finally got to resume racing in a way that was very different from years past in order to comply with COVIID-19 safety regulations, fans were surprised to see how the race panned out in the second half, with some unexpected pairs now racing in the final two legs. Now, with one leg in Portugal left before teams head to L.A. for their final dash to the finish line, the time has come for only one to reach the final first—and win the $1 Million prize. The only question left is—which one will it be?

Here’s our prediction on how the final legs should shake out.

Eliminated Before Final Leg: Arun & Natalia Kumar

While the father/daughter duo has managed to make it this far unexpectedly, fans shouldn’t hold out hope that they will be in the final three when the race finally heads back to the U.S. Though they have continued to be in the race since they were brought back in the second half, a lot of their survival has boiled down to luck, as the legs where they arrived last all wound up being non-elimination ones. Navigation has been a particularly weak point for them in every leg, and at this point in the game, unless they are wildly ahead of every other team where getting lost doesn’t deter them, there isn’t much hope that they’ll come out on top—and they’re starting in third place, behind two consistently stronger teams. With Ryan and Dusty on their tails, they are likely to see their good luck streak end in Portugal.

Ryan Ferguson & Dusty Harris: 3rd Place

Once upon a time, the race seemed to have a team that was cut-and-dry winners—best friends Ryan and Dusty. After finishing in second twice and first before the Race was paused, they managed to come in first again for two additional legs. However, after choosing a cheesemaking detour in Corsica, France, which tested their patience and set them back from their comfortable position in first, they haven’t managed to reclaim their former glory, staying in the back half of the pack since and even coming in last on the most recent leg in Greece. Because they haven’t been able to break out to the front again, and Dusty, in particular, has shown that his patience can run thin quickly—it could prove to be their downfall, especially in the final leg, which usually includes a time-consuming memory challenge.

Raquel Moore & Cayla Platt: 2nd Place

The race is going to come down to two teams-and Raquel and Cayla do have a big chance at winning. They have been a very consistent team throughout the race, and with the exception of the third leg, they have never finished below fourth. The last four legs have seen them in a string of second-place finishes, followed by their first-ever win. They also work so well together, don’t resort to any sort of “dirty” gameplay tactics and keep cool under pressure.

However, by a tiny margin, one other team is just a little bit stronger on average, which is why they seem more likely to finish in second than first.

Kim and Penn Holderness: WINNERS

The team that seems most likely to win is married Youtubers Kim and Penn. Since the re-start of the race, they have been the most consistent of all the teams, finishing in third once, second twice, and first three times. Their partnership is one of the truest ones in Race history, with the two never wavering in their support for the other. Their ability to work as a team when needed to solve problems has also served them well—and with a memory challenge on deck, Penn’s nearly photographic memory that has helped him perform well on mentally-grueling tasks throughout the season could be the best weapon they have in their arsenal in order to win.

The Season 33 finale of “The Amazing Race” airs March 2 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
