Jason Venne, 35, a member of Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, Massachusetts, was arrested by detectives Friday morning after a weeks-long investigation into voyeuristic surveillance and child pornography.

Venne, of Chicopee, Mass., was arrested outside of the base Friday on several charges including four counts of electronic surveillance, two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of posing or exhibiting a child in a nude or lascivious post, local stations WGGB and WSHM-TV reported. Venne is a member of the Air National guard’s 104th Fighter Wing and he was also charged with taking explicit photos of females in locker rooms at the Westfield base.

A search warrant was granted and executed on Venne’s Chicopee home at 167 Summit Ave.,after detectives were given a disk containing the lewd and voyeuristic photos of women on the base on Nov. 18.

"These disks showed several explicit photos of females who were recorded without their knowledge. These photos appeared to be from a residence in Chicopee as well as locker rooms at the Barnes Air Base in Westfield," Chicopee Police Officer Michael Wilk told local news outlets.

"The Massachusetts National Guard has zero tolerance for criminal activity and takes this very seriously. The 104th Fighter Wing is fully cooperating with local authorities and is committed to a timely and complete investigation. Since this is an ongoing investigation, we can provide no further information at this time,” Col. James Suhr of the 104th Fighter Wing said in a statement.

Jason Venne is scheduled for arraignment Friday in Chicopee District Court.
