Morgan Chauntel Nick popularly known to be Morgan Nick is an American girl who was mysteriously abducted at a Little League Baseball game in Alma, Arkansas, in 1995.

Morgan was born on Sept. 12, 1988, and was abducted on June 9, 1995, when she was hardly six years old.

According to the official website of the Morgan Nick Foundation, Morgan was abducted while she went to play with her friends a few yards away from her mother during a Little League baseball game. Morgan at the time of her disappearance, stood 4 feet tall. She weighed about 55 pounds (25 Kilograms), had blonde hair and blue eyes. There were 5 visible silver caps on her molars. She was last seen in a green Girl Scout t-shirt, blue denim shorts, and white tennis shoes.

Morgan was attending the game with her mother Colleen Nick and went to catch lightning bugs with her friends. She was last seen near her mother’s car, emptying sand out of her shoes.

According to witnesses, a man kept watching the young girl while she played with her friends. The unidentified man had a red Ford pickup with a white camper parked nearby. The young man, supposedly 23 years old, was described to be 6-feet-tall, with a medium to solid build, a moustache and a 1-inch beard and disappeared at the same time Morgan did.

After Morgan's abduction, her mother Colleen felt there was a need for an organization that could help families find their missing children. With this objective Colleen started the Morgan Nick Foundation. The foundation helps parents cope if their children go missing and also helps to prevent children from going missing.

Morgan’s case was aired on various shows like "Unsolved Mysteries" and "America’s Most Wanted." In 2005, after Morgan’s house was damaged in a water heater explosion, the family and the foundation were featured on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

Later, the Amber Alert service was renamed the Morgan Nick Amber Alert in Arkansas.

A search operation was started after investigators received a clue from someone who claimed to have information about Morgan’s case on Monday and Tuesday, LeFlore County Sheriff Rob Seale confirmed.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and local authorities searched the backyard and a well at a residence on Northwest Ninth Street in Spiro, near the Oklahoma-Arkansas border. The search was done about 25 miles southwest of the Arkansas town of Alma where Morgan was last seen.

According to 5News, after 10 hours of the search, the authorities called of the search operation and the mystery of the disappearance of a six-year-old Arkansas girl remained unsolved after 22 years.

After the search operation was called off Morgan’s mother, Colleen, released a statement, 5News reported. Colleen said: "I have never given up hope that Morgan is out there waiting to be found. I will continue to fight for Morgan’s return home."
