UPDATED: 10 p.m. EDT — Donald Trump's daughter Tiffany provided a glimpse of the type of father the Republican nominee for president has been to her during her speech Tuesday night at the republican National Convention in Cleveland.

"My father has always helped me be the best version of myself," she said while providing a brief narrative into her experiences as Donald Trump's daughter. She said her father is a "strong, protective, kind, endearing man I’m proud to call my father."

The 22-year-old recent college graduate appeared humble, asking for forgiveness for her apparent nerves while speaking to millions of people.

"My Dad takes such pride in what I do!" she said. "My Dad says 'Never let fear get in the way!'"

Original story:

After a year of seeing Donald Trump on CNN, Twitter and any other media platform you can find, you're probably familiar with his family. There's Melania, his Slovenian wife; Ivanka, his blonde daughter; and Donald Jr. and Eric, his lookalike sons. But on Tuesday night a new surrogate will take the Republican National Convention stage in support of the billionaire: Tiffany Trump, his 22-year-old daughter who's largely avoided the campaign trail thus far.

Tiffany Ariana Trump is the presumptive Republican presidential nominee's daughter with Marla Maples, an actress he wed in 1993 and divorced in 1999. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May with a double major in sociology and urban studies, according to her biography in the RNC program.

Tiffany Trump is scheduled to speak Tuesday after 5:30 p.m. EDT. Watch a live stream of her remarks below:

Want to know more while you're waiting the event? Read on for five interesting facts about the potential first daughter:

1. She's a singer.

Trump released a single called "Like A Bird" in 2014. Most people on Amazon do not like it, leaving reviews like "sounds like a robot singing."

2. She's a model.

This past February, Trump walked the runway at New York Fashion week for Just Drew, a collection made by her friend Andrew Warren, according to People. She wore a navy blazer and a lot of dark eyeshadow.

When she was a year old, her father described her as "a beautiful baby." He went on to assess her sex appeal: "She's got Marla's legs. We don't know whether or not she's got this part yet but time will tell," he said, with his hands cupped in front of his chest to indicate her future bosom.

3. She's dating a Democrat.

Trump appears to have taken her boyfriend, Ross Mechanic, to the RNC. Mechanic is an engineering intern in New York City this summer, according to his LinkedIn. And, perhaps more importantly, he's a Democrat — at least according to the Daily Mail.

4. She's made a few appearances in support of her dad, but not many.

Trump joined the family for her dad's campaign announement, on the "Today Show," at a GOP debate and at a campaign rally in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. But otherwise, she's mostly kept herself busy — Business Insider reported she has recently interned for "Vogue" and Italian fashion company Aeffe.

5. She backs the tycoon in his bid for president.

At a CNN town hall event earlier this year, Trump said her dad was "truly inspiring." "I just truly feel that my father is the best father, the best husband he could be," Tiffany said.
