Sorry, Oliver and friends. The New York Giants are apparently a little more important than the Star City superheroes tonight. That’s why the New York CW affiliate, WPIX, will preempt “Arrow” for the Giants game.

New York fans looking for “Arrow” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” on Monday will only find the Giants playing the San Francisco 49ers instead. The football game will air from 8 p.m. EST until 11 p.m. EST.

If fans don’t have the option of turning to another CW affiliate (some New Jersey residents will be able to switch to a Philadelphia station), then they’ll have to wait until at least tomorrow. The CW website and app will have “Arrow” Season 7, episode 5 available to stream for free starting Tuesday morning. “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” Season 4, episode 4 will also be available to stream at the same time.

Those who prefer to watch on TV will have to clear their Saturday night plans. WPIX will air the delayed episodes of “Arrow” and “Legends” on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. EST and 9 p.m. EST, respectively.

“Arrow” fans are reeling after learning that Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is supposedly dead in the future. However, she’s alive and well in the present, and she’s digging into Oliver’s history. According to the synopsis, she “learns something new about Oliver (Stephen Amell) that shocks her” in episode 5.

Meanwhile, Curtis (Echo Kellum) goes undercover at ARGUS, and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) works with “an unlikely ally.” Could it be Laurel (Katie Cassidy)? Black Siren seems to be interested in helping the good guys after Quentin’s death.

Over on “Legends of Tomorrow,” the heroes will be investigating disappearances at a summer camp in the 1990s, and what better way to keep track of campers than to pose as counselors? Sara (Caity Lotz), Ava (Jes Macallan), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Constantine (Matt Ryan) will be rocking the khaki shorts in episode 4. They’ll eventually track down the cause of the disappearances, but one hero will be badly hurt.

Monday’s New York area preemption won’t affect the airing schedule moving forward. “Arrow” Season 7, episode 6 and “Legends” Season 4, episode 5 will air next week on Nov. 19.
