All eyes have been on Meghan Markle since her wedding with Prince Harry, which made her an official member of the royal family. However, since the Duchess of Sussex became a resident at Kensington Palace, it appears she is having a tougher time adjusting to her new life compared to Kate Middleton’s transition.

Since Meghan married Harry in May, the Duchess of Sussex has been at the center of reports alleging she is difficult to work with and most recently a rumored feud with her sister-in-law Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

Amid the drama surrounding the royal family, a palace source told People Kate has had an easier transition since marrying Prince William because she “has maneuvered herself in a different way, but she is still strong.”

Along with accepting the idea that she is the future queen consort, Kate has managed to abide by the royal rules by focusing on her three kids Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 8 months.

Being a family of five, Prince William and his wife “have created their own nest, and they are confident in what they’re doing,” sources revealed.

Meanwhile, Meghan is reportedly struggling to accept the royal rules she must follow. “The palace is a magical place, and it is also a place where all you hear is ‘no, no, no,’” the insider shared.

Due to her American upbringing, those in the royal circle believe it is the clash of cultures that are causing tension in the palace. “The most difficult job in the royal family is to work with Meghan’s ambitions and make them realizable. She will get frustrated if she is told, ‘You can’t do this or can’t do that.’”

Palace sources worry that veteran royal aides “might not be used to the ‘say-it-as-you-see-it’ American mentality” the Duchess of Sussex possesses.

News of Meghan’s difficulty adjusting to her new life comes amid reports she is “frustrated” with the royal rules and feels like she has “no voice.”
