It's been almost two months since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the royal life behind and while they seem to be moving on just fine, some of the family members they left behind -- Kate Middleton and Prince William -- aren't.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex fulfilled their last duties as royals on March 30 and have since begun their life in North America. However, just because they are gone doesn't mean that their duties disappear too. Apparently, Kate and William have had to pick up the slack, which, according to the Daily Mail, Tatler magazine reported has left Kate feeling "exhausted and trapped" over her "enormous" workload.

"William and Catherine really wanted to be hands-on parents and the Sussexes have effectively thrown their three children under a bus," a friend of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge dished.

"Kate is furious about the larger workload. Of course she's smiling and dressing appropriately but she doesn't want this," the insider added. "She's working as hard as a top CEO, who has to be wheeled out all the time, without the benefits of boundaries and plenty of holidays."

While the royal parents of three deal with the reported added stress of doing more work, Megan and Harry are dealing with the stresses of getting settled in a new country, which doesn't seem to be smooth sailing.

On multiple occasions, royal expert Angela Mollard has suggested that their lifestyle change has drastically affected the father of 1-year-old Archie Harrison.

"I very much think that Harry will be suffering from irrelevancy," she dished. "Right now, the world is not focused on them. He can’t do the work that he wants to do. He is separated from his family at a time when the rest of the world is using Zoom or WhatsApp to chat with each other."

"I can hardly see that happening, he must feel very separate. He doesn’t have friends in LA, she does," Mollard continued. "She has Doria, she has her family. While Meghan might have been feeling equally as removed when she lived in the UK, for Harry, friends and his brother have been the people that have supported him through the years since his mother’s death."

"To have that stripped away I think will be very discombobulating for him," she added.
