Despite rumors suggesting Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal feud with Prince William and Kate Middleton caused the group to split their joint charity, it appears both couples have benefited from the separation.

Since Meghan and Harry married in 2018, the couple has been focused on making a name for themselves. However, their distance from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has only fueled feud rumors.

During an appearance on People Now, commentator, Makho Ndlovu claimed some people thought William and Kate’s charity split would hurt their relationship with the Sussexes.

The commentator said, “We remember when they announced they would be splitting from William and Kate, and moving out of Kensington Palace. We were a bit worried about what that could mean for the relationship between the two couples. But, now their inner circle is telling us that was a good thing?”

People’s Senior News Editor, Erin Hill appeared to confirm the positive shift between the couples following their tense relationship.

“It’s a good thing, and I think everybody can relate. If you can imagine living and working with your in-laws day-to-day. It’s a good thing to move away to set up their own households, their own organizations,” she said.

“In fact, we are learning they have come back together even stronger more as a family now rather than colleagues, and it is really strengthening these relationships.”

Hill claimed the decision to split the charity has not only helped Kate and Meghan’s relationship, but it has also strengthened Prince William and Prince Harry’s bond.

“Kids are uniting them as kids do, they have more in common now. William famously said when his baby was born that finally, his brother was part of the ‘sleep deprivation club,’” the expert revealed

“There’s more they can relate too. The cousins are really important. William and Harry grew up really close to their cousins. Zara is a Godmother to George, Harry is really close to Princess Eugenie, so the cousins are a big deal,” Hill added.

Despite the charity split, Prince William and Prince Harry appeared to be in great spirits during their most recent outing. Meanwhile, Kate seemingly comforted Meghan after Serena Williams lost a game at Wimbledon.

Even though the palace has not addressed feud rumors, the couples continue to put on a united front during public outings.
