Mikaela Spielberg's life continues to take some interesting turns.

The daughter of Hollywood film director and producer Steven Spielberg had to pay a $1,000 bond after she was arrested over the weekend. As TMZ reports, police booked Mikaela on domestic assault charges in Nashville, Tennessee, on Feb. 29.

The arrest came after the 24-year-old reportedly got into a physical altercation with her unnamed boyfriend that left him with a swollen wrist and dry blood on his hand. The fight began after the two came home from a bar and he said something described as “rude” to her. The comment resulted in Mikaela allegedly throwing objects at her partner.

While both individuals were honest about partaking in the altercation, officials labeled Mikaela as the aggressor in the situation. In part, this was reportedly due to inconsistencies in the story she told police while her boyfriend’s narrative remained unchanged. Although he told police he did not want to press charges, prosecutors are said to be continuing on his behalf.

The arrest comes only weeks after Mikaela announced her upcoming career in the adult entertainment industry.

"I got really tired of not being able to capitalize on my body and frankly, I got really tired of being told to hate my body," she explained of her decision to The Sun. "And I also just got tired of working day-to-day in a way that wasn't satisfying my soul."

Further, Mikaela said she hoped her career would allow her to become financially independent from her adoptive parents, Steven and actress Kate Capshaw, whom she painted to be quite supportive.

"My safety has always been a number one priority for them," she added. "I actually think that once they see how far I've come from the bottom I was at a year and a half ago, they're going to look at this and go, 'Wow, we actually raised are really self-assured, young lady.'"

Mikaela has not yet released a statement regarding her domestic assault charges.
