Matthew Perry may be gearing up to make your day, your week, your month, or even your year.

The "Friends" actor sent fans into a frenzy on Tuesday night with three simple words: "Big news coming."

Perry didn't elaborate on what that "big news" to come is but that didn't stop fans from speculating what it could mean. Some think that the tweet meant that the actor would be joining another social media platform like his fellow "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston did in October 2019.

"Do you go to Instagram? PLEASE SAY YESS," one user wrote.

The consensus between most of the actor's followers, though, is that the tweet is signifying that he will be making his way to TV screens again with a "Friends" reunion.

"Please say it’s a Friends Reunion!?!?" one Twitter user pleaded, while another begged, "FRIENDS REUNION, PLEASE."

A "Friends" reunion isn't a bad guess considering that there was one previously in the works to be streamed on HBO Max (the network's new streaming service which launches in May). The reunion special hoped to include the show's stars -- Perry (Chandler), Courteney Cox (Monica), Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey) and David Schwimmer (Ross) -- however, in early January it seemed that it might not happen.

"There is interest all around and yet we can’t get the interests all alighted to push the button on it," HBO Max’s Chief Creative Officer Kevin Reilly said about the reunion special at Television Critics Association conference. "Today it’s just maybe."

At the time, negotiations between the cast and Warner Bros. TV were at a standstill due to an "eight-figure gap" (meaning at least $10 million) between cast salary demands and what the studio is willing to shell out.

Perhaps, things have changed and the "Friends" reunion show is back on. Or perhaps, Perry has an announcement that has nothing to do with his former co-stars. In either case, it's only a matter of time before the "big news" gets out.
