While Teacher Appreciation Day may not be happening again on the calendar until 2020, that doesn’t mean that educators will have to wait until next year to score some special deals in honor of what they do for students every day.

In honor of World Teacher Day on Saturday, Oct. 5, dozens of companies are celebrating educators by offering freebies and discounts on several different items. Find out where to take advantage of some great deals below.

Freebies:

  • Kennedy Space Center: Teachers in Georgia and Florida who have an Educator Study Pass can access the Educator Resource Center without paying admission.
  • Microsoft: With a valid ID, get Microsoft Office 365 Education for free, which includes access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note programs.
  • Overstock: Teachers can get a free membership to Club O, which includes benefits like early access to sales, free shipping and more.

  • Adobe: Teachers can save over 60 percent on Adobe Creative Cloud services.
  • Apple: Any educator can upgrade the technology they use thanks to Apple’s Education Pricing, which allows for savings on Macs and iPads and also allows them to trade in any eligible Mac and get a credit towards a new Macbook.
  • AT&T Wireless: Educators can get discounts on their wireless plans here and with other service providers. To check for eligibility, they just need to enter a valid email address to see what discounts they are eligible for.
  • Banana Republic: With a valid ID, receive a 15 percent discount on a full-priced purchase.
  • Barnes & Noble: Those who are signed up for the B&N Educators program can not only save 20 percent off the publisher’s list price on all purchases for classroom use but can also save up to 25 percent on Educator Appreciation Days.
  • Bonobos: Eligible educators can save 20 percent on purchases.
  • Carson Dellosa Education: In honor of World Teachers’ Day, save 25 percent off Bulletin Board Sets, Accents and Borders with code CELEBRATE.
  • Caesars Entertainment: If a trip to Vegas or Atlantic City is in your future, then check out the discount on hotel rooms that are available for teachers, allowing them to save an extra 10 percent off the lowest available rate.
  • The Container Store: Sign up for the Organized Teacher Discount Program to get special discounts throughout the year.
  • Contiki: Mention that you’re a teacher when booking any trips of seven or more days and save $75 as a result.
  • Dick Blick Art Materials: By signing up for a free Blick Preferred customer card, educators can get a 10 percent discount every time they shop.
  • Half Price Books: Save 10 percent year-round with the educator discount, and shop during Teacher Appreciation Weekend Oct. 12-14 to take 20 percent off a purchase.
  • Hanes: Get an extra 10 percent off when shopping at the various portfolio of websites, even if retired.
  • Hertz Car Rental: Those who are members of the National Education Association can use that membership to save 25 percent on their next rental.
