Roman Reigns got his payback on The Undertaker on the most recent edition of “Monday Night Raw.” The three-time WWE Champion ended the show by delivering a Spear to the Deadman, and he’s now expected to win their WrestleMania 33 match.

The Undertaker made a surprise return to WWE, appearing in the middle of the ring during Reigns' match with Braun Strowman. The Deadman delivered a Chokeslam to Strowman, allowing Reigns to attack The Undertaker when his back was turned. Two weeks earlier, The Undertaker hit Reigns with a ChokeSlam and the WrestleMania match was made.

Having won two consecutive WrestleMania matches since Brock Lesnar ended “The Streak,” The Undertaker is not the favorite heading into WWE’s biggest event of 2017. Paddy Power has made Reigns the odds-on favorite with 4/9 odds, while The Undertaker has just 13/8 betting odds to pull out the win.

Lesnar pinned The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 and Hell in A Cell 2015, but it’s been years since any other WWE superstar defeated the Deadman in a singles match. Kane did it at Bragging Rights in 2010, just prior to The Undertaker becoming a part-time wrestler.

There had been speculation that WrestleMania 33 could be The Undertaker’s final WWE match, though there hasn’t been much indication that he wouldn’t return to the ring after April 2. It’s possible that Reigns could get the victory by turning heel, but WWE has been reluctant to pull the trigger on a Reigns heel turn, despite the negative reaction he draws from many live crowds.

The Undertaker defeated Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31 and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 32. Roman Reigns has fought in the main event of both shows, getting pinned by Seth Rollins in 2015 and defeating Triple H last year.
