The men’s world championship matches for WrestleMania 34 seem to be all but set in stone. Roman Reigns is expected to win the Elimination Chamber match and earn a shot at Brock Lesnar’s WWE Universal Championship, while Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura is likely to face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.

When it comes to WWE’s women’s division, the direction isn’t quite as clear. With Asuka winning the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble, Ronda Rousey joining the company as a wrestler and Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair holding the titles on “Monday Night Raw” and “SmackDown Live,” WWE has several options.

Coming out of the Royal Rumble, the biggest question mark surrounded Rousey and what she would do at WrestleMania, the site of her first wrestling match. Dave Meltzer reported for MMA Fighting that WWE is hoping to pair Rousey with either The Rock or another WWE superstar in a tag team match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

The rumor makes sense for a few reasons. There is already a history between the two potential teams because of a confrontation at WrestleMania 31. Rousey hasn’t yet wrestled in front of an audience, and it might be best to put her in a tag match if she’s going to debut in WWE’s biggest show of the year.

Rumors, of course, are often proven to be false, and WWE doesn’t always stick to their initial plans. Whether it’s because The Rock isn’t available to wrestle or Vince McMahon changes his mind, there’s a chance that Rousey will have a singles match at WrestleMania 34.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte has already made it clear that she wants to face Rousey on WWE’s grandest stage. Now, she’s planting the seeds for the match to happen in New Orleans on April 8, taking shots at the former UFC Champion on Twitter.

If WWE is going to have Rousey face anyone in a WrestleMania singles match, it would likely be Charlotte. She’s the top female athlete on the roster, having won five world championships in the last two and a half years.

A few different women on the WWE roster are in play to challenge Charlotte for her title. Maybe Becky Lynch, the first-ever SmackDown Women’s Champion, will get a shot. Despite being on the “Monday Night Raw” roster, Asuka could use her Royal Rumble victory to face Charlotte at WrestleMania.

Alexa Bliss has been the Raw Women’s Champion since Aug. 28. She’ll defend her title against five other women at WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Feb. 25. Bayley and Sasha Banks will compete in the match, and they appear to be the biggest threats to Bliss.

Don’t be surprised to see either Bayley or Sasha Banks win the belt at Elimination Chamber, leading to a Raw Women’s Championship match between the two friends at WrestleMania. Sasha eliminated Bayley from the women’s Royal Rumble match, and WWE has been teasing a heel turn for Sasha for what feels like forever.

Maybe Sasha will beat Bliss at Elimination Chamber for the belt. Asuka could choose to instead face Charlotte at WrestleMania, opening the door for a Sasha vs. Bayley title match in New Orleans.

Sasha and Bayley had one of the best WWE matches in recent memory when they fought at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in the summer of 2015. Few would argue against putting that match on a WrestleMania card.
