The competition is getting really stiff on the 2012 season of “The X Factor” on Fox, and all of the judges, with the exception of Demi Lovato, were ready to see Cece Frey pack her bags Wednesday night.

With the help of her mentor, Demi Lovato, Frey put on her version of Moulin Rouge’s “Lady Marmalade.”

The sassy hit was originally performed by Labelle in 1971 and then covered in 2001 by Lil’ Kim, Mya, Pink and Christina Aguilera.

It seemed Frey missed half of the words and didn’t feel comfortable on stage, which would be no surprise, considering she was wearing an extra short hoop skirt and garter.

L.A. Reid told Frey he enjoyed her performance even though he referred to it as a “circus.” And then she was going to go home.

Frey didn’t let Reid’s criticism get to her and seemed relieved when Britney Spears told her she had "taken it up a notch.” But her relief ended when Spears said there was better competition out there.

By the time the cameras were ready for Simon Cowell, he first made sure to scorn Lovato's work as a mentor and then bluntly told Frey the best advice he could give to her was to pack her bags.

He said the act was too showy and like eating massive a big chocolate cake when he only needed a sliver.

"I don't think that is going to endear you to the public at home," Cowell said. "My advice tonight is: Pack a suitcase."

Frey has continually found herself in the bottom, and the judges didn't save her this time around.
