She has been torn and gone back and forth between throwing her support behind both of them, but now, Sharon will be forced to choose once and for all whether she wants to support Adam—or everyone else instead on the Thursday, August 1 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Sharon (Sharon Case) was initially behind helping Adam (Marc Grossman) regain his life in Genoa City on the CBS soap until he turned his attentions towards Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Christian. She then tried staying out of it, though she felt he should leave the father/son pair alone but found herself dragged back into things after the battle between the brothers went to court and a judge decided neither was fit to be a father to the little boy. While Nick sought out Victoria (Amelia Heinle) as a temporary guardian, Adam came to her, and she agreed to serve in the role if the judge approved it. The move was unsuccessful and led to major consequences for Sharon’s relationship with Rey (Jordi Villasousa), which came to an end because he felt she would continue choosing Adam.

Now, according to a preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above), Sharon will find herself questioned about where exactly her loyalties lie, as Nick warns her she needs to decide who she’s with once and for all.

“You’re going to have to make a decision. Are you going to be on Adam’s side, or everyone else’s?” he asks her in the clip.

Naturally, Sharon may feel a little torn, but in the end, she will have to choose, and since she tends to normally be drawn towards the person she feels is more of an underdog, she may shock everyone by picking Adam.

Meanwhile, Nick is also deciding what to do with the properties he now can control again after Victoria and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) worked together to get him back everything he had at Dark Horse. As it turns out, he may decide to only keep one thing for now, the low-cost housing project that had been pushed to the side. And as it turns out, he will decide on a surprising partner as he figures out what to do with the project going forward.

“Nick and Devon (Bryton James) team up,” spoilers reveal.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
