He has been getting increasingly more haunted by memories of the past ever since the man responsible for his daughter’s death resurfaced in Genoa City. Now, as Billy continues to spiral out of control, he could start tapping into his dark side on the Thursday, July 25 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Since Adam (Marc Grossman) came back to town on the CBS soap, Billy (Jason Thompson) has been haunted by the memories he has of his daughter, Delia, who died after a car accident Adam caused years ago. Since then, especially after realizing Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was also alive, the memories have been messing with his head and making him lose control. In addition, he’s been having dreams of his daughter and finding what appears to be hidden messages from her as well, which has been equally as haunting.

Now, as he continues to spiral and seem like he’s losing control, his thoughts will admittedly take a dark turn. In a preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above), he’s seen confessing to wanting Adam dead again—something he almost had come true when he nearly killed him in a car accident as well years before.

“A few nights ago, I got a gun and I fantasized about getting rid of Adam,” he says to Sharon (Sharon Case) in the clip.

Sharon will likely urge him to get some help, something he may agree he needs after all—but as his visions of Delia continue to get worse and even more disturbing—with him also hallucinating that he’s hearing her actual voice—he could get even worse.

His state of mind could prove to be especially dangerous considering the latest development he also doesn’t know about in regards to his home life and family. After a judge decided neither Nick (Joshua Morrow) nor Adam was eligible to have custody of Christian, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) volunteered to step up and hold on to the little boy until the next hearing. With him in the house and Billy teetering on the edge of insanity, it could prove to have costly repercussions.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
