The trial has officially begun against Nikki, Sharon and Victoria on “The Young and the Restless,” and now, as a case is built against them on JT’s murder, incriminating evidence will be introduced on the Friday, March 1 episode.

Christine (Lauralee Bell) is building her case against Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Sharon (Sharon Case) in front of a jury on the CBS soap, and is hoping to score a conviction for JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder. Her biggest hope hinges entirely on Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) who sold the others out to get immunity and is now the star witness, but she also has other evidence thanks to the other woman’s betrayal. Now, it appears she will waste no time working to bring that evidence to light as she tries to secure a conviction early on.

“Christine introduces incriminating evidence,” spoilers reveal.

Likely, the evidence Christine will introduce first will be of the video showing the women putting JT’s body in the trunk of a car, wrapped in a rug. As she introduces the video though, that will require Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to take the stand, since she is the one who can discuss the story about the video’s existence.

However, introducing the video will also come with a risk for the women, because Mariah will have to try and explain how she came to know of its existence—without revealing the blackmail scheme Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) had orchestrated after finding it. Whether it will be possible to discuss the video without implicating herself though remains to be seen.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
