She was involved in the scheme to threaten Tessa and make sure she wasn’t still trying to mess around in regard to JT’s death. Now, Sharon’s actions may have dire consequences when it comes to her usually close relationship with her daughter, Mariah, on the Friday, Dec. 14 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Sharon (Sharon Case) was present when Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) kidnapped Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and confronted her about the new evidence that has emerged which seems to implicate Victor (Eric Braden) for JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder. She wasn’t comfortable with the interrogation technique on the CBS soap, but still believes it was the right thing to do. However, now that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has become aware of the plot, it could cause problems with her daughter.

“Sharon comes clean,” “Y&R” spoilers tease.

Sharon will admit to Mariah that she was a part of the plot, and will continue defending the decision to make sure Tessa wasn’t doing something else now that her blackmail scheme is over. She will also tell Mariah that she thinks Tessa is using the kidnapping to bring her back in and draw her back into their romance—something Mariah wanted out of, and she will warn her daughter to stay away from the other woman.

However, Mariah will refuse, because she believes Tessa is traumatized now and needs their love more than ever before. Now, the battle will be on between the mother and daughter, and things may never be the same.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
