Summer will return to Genoa City on the Wednesday, Sept. 5 episode of “The Young and the Restless,” and she will be more focused than ever on destroying Phyllis’ life.

After Summer (Hunter King) made plans to follow Billy (Jason Thompson) to Philadelphia and seduce him on the CBS soap, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) took action. Young and the Restless
Summer (Hunter King) returns to Genoa City to resume her play for Billy (Jason Thompson) on the Sept. 5. 2018 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”  CBS

Now, Summer will be back from her cruise, and after she realizes they moved on, she will quickly run off to find her mother and confront her about what she’s done. Their argument naturally will escalate, as they refer to one another’s questionable pasts. Their battle will also lead to some distress around them, as their fight is happening in the Abbott Mansion, and Dina (Marla Adams) becomes visibly upset by what’s going on.

However, even knowing that Phyllis won’t let her get her hands on Billy won’t deter Summer from trying to get what she wants. After Kyle (Michael Mealor) physically removes her from the Abbott property, she will complain about what happened with Phyllis and admit that she was outplayed. Still, she refuses to let Phyllis be the victor. After making her disappearance seem less like a trick to others, Summer will once again renew her efforts to try and win Billy, making it clear that she has no intentions of giving up, regardless of what Phyllis throws at her.
