February Sweeps are often a huge time for old mysteries to be solved and new drama to be brought onto the scene on soap operas, and that couldn’t be any truer than on “Days of Our Lives,” “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

So much has been happening on the three soaps that it’s easy to miss even the biggest details about the storylines. In case you stepped away from your TV during the bombshell reveals, jaw-dropping plots or tender moments, here are the seven biggest things that happened during the week of Feb. 11.

“Days Of Our Lives” (NBC)

John Gets Shocking News

After realizing that Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) mother was none other than Diana Colville (Judith Chapman), John (Drake Hogestyn) began to wonder if the man forcing Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Chandler Massey) apart could actually be his son. When he finally sat down with Diana and demanded answers, she confirmed that Leo was, in fact, their child. However, she insisted that he didn’t know the truth, and she preferred to keep it that way, meaning John is in a tough bind—especially since he has yet to reveal the truth to Marlena (Diedre Hall).

Jordan Resorts To Extreme Measures

DOOL 2
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was left to die after Jordan (Chrishell Stause Hartley, not pictured) set the cabin on fire on “Days of Our Lives.” XJ Johnson/JPI Studios for NBC

Jordan (Chrishell Stause Hartley) returned to town with a big splash, kidnapping both Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Charlotte in an attempt to frame Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and get him locked up for good. She was forced to drug Kate (Lauren Koslow) however after her enemy ran into her and became suspicious, but her plan seemed to work. Unfortunately, she informed Ciara that she had to die because she couldn’t be trusted not to tell the truth—and she was left to die in the burning cabin. Ben managed to escape police custody however and rescue Ciara, and after some clever cunning on his part, Chad (Billy Flynn) was able to convince Jordan that he had killed Ben, which forced her to give baby Charlotte back to Abigail (Kate Mansi). Now, Jordan has a new target in mind for her fury—her brother, whom she saw at the hospital with Ciara and has realized isn’t dead.

Abigail Finally Forgives Chad

They’ve been through a lot in the last year, but finally, Chad and Abigail are back where they belong. After everything he has done to try and prove to her he was sorry for believing her DID was back, Abigail finally forgave her former husband, meaning they could truly get back to the way things used to be once again.

“The Young And The Restless” (CBS)

The JT Coverup Is Finally Exposed

They’ve spent nearly a year trying to cover up the truth about what happened to JT (Thad Luckinbill), but the gig is officially up for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case). Nikki initially confessed to working alone to spare Victor (Eric Braden) from going down for the crime since he was innocent, but since then, Rey (Jordi Villasousa) came across Sharon’s phone records and realized she had called 911 on the night of the murder. She was forced to come clean and told him the real story—and as a result, she, Victoria and Phyllis have now all since been arrested.

A Shocking Attack Occurs

Of course, as one mystery comes to an end in Genoa City, a new one is also beginning. After realizing she wanted to make things work with Kyle (Michael Mealor), Lola (Sasha Calle) went to the Abbott Mansion to find him and tried to enter through the backyard when there was no answer at the front door. However, a mystery person came up behind her and shoved her, and she hit her head. When she tried to get up, she became dizzy and then fell into the pool. The unidentified person escaped—and Lola is currently floating and potentially at risk of drowning to her death.

“The Bold And The Beautiful” (CBS)

Zoe Learns The Truth

She was suspicious of what kind of relationship her father, Reese (Wayne Brady) really had with Flo (Katrina Bowden), especially after finding the adoption papers for Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) new baby, Phoebe. Finally, after threatening to go to the police, Zoe managed to get the truth out of Flo—that Reese had lied to Hope (Annika Noelle) and told her Beth died, then sold the infant to Steffy and Taylor (Hunter Tylo) under the guise of a legal adoption so he could pay off his gambling debts. Now, it’s up to Zoe what she will do with the information—and whether she will blow the whole scam wide open.

Thorne Blindsides Katie

Valentine’s Day wasn’t romantic for everyone in L.A. unfortunately. As Katie (Heather Tom) prepared for her first Valentine’s Day with her husband, Thorne (Ingo Rademacher), she was stunned when he instead presented her with annulment papers to end their marriage for good. She was more shocked when he revealed he was doing it not just because he still needed to deal with both Darla and Aly’s deaths, but because he felt that she really wants Bill (Don Diamont) back again and since he’s proven to be a good father to Will (Finnegan George) now and a changed man, that it’s possible. Though she was still adamant that she wanted Thorne, the marriage still came to an official end after Thorne filed the papers.
