Fans should be sure to expect some fierce competition when Season 30 of "The Amazing Race" debuts on CBS, but watching things unfold on screen likely won't be the only source of drama throughout the season.

On Jan. 3, the network will premiere the newest season of the show, featuring teams that are all partially famous or known for their competitive natures, which will make the race for $1 million potentially more intense than ever before. With a nice mix of athletes, reality stars, musicians, competitive eaters and champion debaters, it also appears to be one of the more diverse casts in terms of backgrounds as well, which should also add to the fun as things air.
