Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan posed for a photoshoot along with his pet dog, Shanouk, for the cover of as yet unnamed magazine.

The veteran actor announced the shoot on his Twitter page - @SrBachchan: T 598 - Did photo shoot with Shanouk my Pirrana Dane for cover of a magazine on dogs by the ebullient Farzana Contractor, wife of BusyBee !!”

He later posted a picture of him holding his dog, which attracted an array of comments from his fans.

“T 598 -That picture is of Shanouk, my Piranna Dane .. Shanouk - a warm gentle breeze on a cold winter morning ..,” he wrote.

Bachchan soon posted two more pictures from the shoot.

“T 599 -If you liked the pictures of Shanouk my pet dog, more can be put in later .. Want ?” an overwhelmed actor wrote.

The 69-year-old actor finally had the chance to spend quality time with his dog, who, he said, had been feeling a little neglected ever since the birth of his granddaughter.

Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter-in-law, a former Miss World and a Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a baby girl at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai, on Nov. 16. The Bchchan family is yet to decide on a name for the baby.
