Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper cleared the air after Ryan Seacrest claimed Cohen ignored him on New Year's Eve.

Seacrest, 48, claimed on Tuesday's episode of "Live With Ryan and Kelly" that he tried to say hello to Cooper and Cohen as he was standing on the stage opposite theirs, hosting his own New Year's Eve broadcast. However, Seacrest claimed that only Cooper waved back at him, while Cohen "did not turn around."

On Wednesday's episode of his "Radio Andy" show, Cohen defended his actions, explaining that he did not see Seacrest trying to get their attention or see Cooper waving back.

"Ryan, I don't know, he's got a big up about me two weeks in a row," the 54-year-old host said, Us Weekly reported. "I don't even know what. ... I didn't see Anderson turn around and wave. Usually what Anderson will do, and I should call him back and ask him about this, frankly. But I think he'll yell at me if I do. Usually, if he's waving at Ryan, he'll say to me, 'Hey, there's Ryan.' You know what I mean?"

CNN's "New Year's Eve Live," hosted by Cohen and Cooper, and ABC's "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve," hosted by Seacrest, were both filmed live in Times Square in New York City Saturday. Cohen noted that they usually all greet one another at some point during their broadcasts.

Cohen explained that if Cooper had greeted Seacrest, his friend would have informed him, so he could also say hello to Seacrest.

"And then I'll turn around and wave or I'll say, 'There's Ryan,' but [Anderson] didn't do that," Cohen said about his longtime pal. "Should I call him and yell at him about it?"

Cohen then called Cooper live on his radio show to back up his claim.

"Oh, you're gonna get me involved in a thing with Seacrest?" the "60 Minutes" host asked his pal.

"This is between you and I. This is a you and I thing because he said on the show that you very politely turned around and waved to him and mouthed to him have a good show and that I didn't turn around," Cohen said.

Cooper then explained that he "just happened to turn" and he saw Seacrest and they both waved at each other.

While Cooper would usually get Cohen's attention if he saw Seacrest waving at them, he said he didn't Saturday because he thought the "Watch What Happens Live" host was talking to someone.

"[Andy,] you were talking [and] were involved in some producer [thing] and so I just didn't [tell you to say hi]. I mean, it all happened so fast, it wasn't a big deal. I mean, every year we always say hi to him. So I assumed maybe you had previously and I was just catching up," Cooper explained.

The CNN broadcaster apologized to his pal, saying it was a "failing on [his] part." He added that he hoped "that didn't contribute to anything" because he thought he saw Cohen wave at Seacrest at some point.

Cohen said he hadn't greeted Seacrest but "would have" if he had seen him. However, at the time, he was trying to get Duran Duran's attention.

Seacrest discussed the incident with his co-host Kelly Ripa, 52, on their show Tuesday. According to him, when he was not working, he tried to get Cooper and Cohen's attention to say hello mid-show.

"I thought maybe I was in the shot. I just wanted to wave and say hi. They have a great show," Seacrest said. "And Anderson, the best. He turns around and he says, 'Have a good show.' Very nice. Andy did not turn around."

But Ripa refuted Seacrest's statement and defended her pal Cohen. "That's not true. He said he was trying to get your attention," she said. "Usually, ABC and CNN go to commercial at the same time. This year, they did not which was enormously helpful [as I went back-and-forth between programs]."
