Having the best guns beats trying to beat up everybody in the room with your fists. Respawn Entertainment/EA/Apex Legends

In "Apex Legends," you’ll find various guns while trying to survive and become the Apex Champion. However, it’s always been a problem knowing when to switch guns and when to choose one gun over the other. Here are the top 3 best guns in "Apex Legends" to help you win your battles.

Peacekeeper (Shotgun)

The Peacekeeper shotgun hits hard as each shot can deal 40-90 damage depending on how many pellets hit the enemy. Keep in mind, a player can only have a maximum of 200 points of armor and health, which means you can incapacitate an enemy in 2-3 shots depending on their armor. When fully upgraded, you can rely on hipfiring with it as you focus on shooting and dodging.

Meanwhile, the Precision Choke allows you to collect the shotgun pellets into a single punch of energy that can assure that the Peacekeeper will hurt as much as it can at consistent rates. If you can find this gun and a handful of shotgun ammo, make sure to give a spot for it in your inventory.

Wingman (Heavy Ammo Pistol)

While it doesn’t look as menacing as the larger guns, it is actually a force to be reckoned with, regardless if it’s an experienced or a new player handling it. Each Wingman shot deals a minimum of 40 damage per hit and twice that damage for a headshot. It also has barely any recoil pattern, which allows players to shoot accurately when trying to gun down foes. Even without aiming for a headshot, you can knock down foes easily. When fully upgraded, its headshots deal more damage and can help you deal with more foes much easily even with a smaller clip size.

Level 4 Weapons, Mastiff Shotgun and Kraber .50 cal Sniper Rifle

Sometimes, you’ll be able to see orange Care Package ships landing near your area that may contain one of these Level 4 golden weapons inside. The Mastiff shotgun shoots a straight horizontal spread of bullets which can down an enemy with one shot with a good clean bodyshot. Meanwhile, the Kraber sniper rifle can also deal around 80 damage per hit and is effective at any far distance.

The only problem with these guns is that their reload times are a bit slower than the regular guns and you’ll have to make each shot count as their ammos cannot be refilled. Nevertheless, it’s never a wrong move to rely on these guns to assure your victory in the long run.
