The iPhone 11 is said to have a triple-lens camera, according to previous rumors. But new speculations claimed that Apple will use a triple-lens camera similar to the Huawei Mate 20 camera. Here’s what we know about this.

According to Macotakara, Chinese suppliers said that the Apple iPhone 11 has a triple-lens rear camera collected in a square space, similar to that of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The triple-lens technology isn’t just for show as it would actually improve the quality of pictures taken by the device.

The suppliers also confirmed that Apple is currently adding a large hole in the rear of the device which could be for the triple-lens camera. Speculations also noted that the Apple iPhone 11 triple-lens camera could be set up symmetrically or asymmetrically inside the square.

However, take this information with a grain of salt as the suppliers weren’t named.

While Apple has been known to innovate on each device they release, this triple-lens technology is not pioneered by the tech giant. This trend was started by LG and adapted by other developers, such as Huawei for their Mate 20 smartphone.

Apple isn’t known to focus their development on having the best smartphone camera, but they are always among the best brands when it comes to overall smartphone quality.

As of now, Apple has yet to announce any official details about the iPhone 11. The company’s current focus is on improving and bolstering their services on all smart devices. Their CES 2019 and Steve Jobs theater event this March have revealed and will unveil more information about their plans on improving their services.

Apple head Tim Cook, however, did confirm that they’re developing new devices and these are on the way. But Cook didn’t announce any specific details about which Apple device will they unveil and reveal soon.

For now, we’ll have to wait for Apple to announce new information about their devices. Potentially, Cook may confirm some information about the iPhone 11 this month and possibly talk about its camera features too.
