Prince William and Kate Middleton have been accused of distancing themselves from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans have differing thoughts on the matter. Kimberly Klaus, a development coach, said that it is not surprising for the royal couples to distance themselves from each other.

Since the Cambridges and the Sussexes will have different roles in the future, it is only sensible for them to go their separate ways as early as now. But this is not to say that Prince William and Middleton are the ones who have been distancing themselves from Prince Harry and Markle.

“They don’t loathe each other, as the papers seem to want us to believe. When they were at the polo match a couple of months back, little Louis was making silly faces at Meghan; little kids don’t do that unless they’ve comfortable with the person they’re making silly faces at,” she said.

Klaus also talked about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s birthday greeting for Prince George. She said that the royal couple uploaded a photo of the young royal that came directly from Middleton. This means that Prince Harry and Markle have a personal copy of their nephew’s pictures.

Deanna Eppers, an ardent follower of the royal family, said that it is Prince Harry and Markle who have been distancing themselves from the Cambridges and not the other way around.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex started distancing themselves from Prince William and Middleton after they decided to move out of Kensington Palace. Nottingham Cottage was reportedly too small for the Sussexes so they decided to move to Frogmore Cottage.

Chris Hawkes, a supporter of constitutional monarchy, said that royal fans should avoid reading tabloids. He said that the Cambridges and Sussexes get along just fine contrary to the ongoing reports.

“They are grown-ups and confident, happy, and independent people. They do not need to take the tabloids,” he said.
