The Miami Heat will visit the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, January 16 at the State Farm Arena in a battle of two teams looking to extend their respective winning runs.

The Hawks are coming off back-to-back wins with victories over the Indiana Pacers (113-113) and the Toronto Raptors (114-103).

Atlanta will continue to rely on their big guns in the forms of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray, both of whom were instrumental in that win against the Raptors.

"We just want to continue to grow and get better, game by game," Young said. "It's not going to be great every night, but we'll definitely have nights like tonight where we can control the game and take over when we need to."

Young finished with 29 points and nine assists, while Murray chipped in 27 markers, eight caroms, and six dimes.

However, looking at the injury report, Young has been listed as day-to-day.

Clint Capella has also been upgraded to questionable as he continues to deal with a calf injury.

On offense, the Hawks are ranked 22nd with a 111.5 rating. On the defensive side, they are ranked 112.7, 14th in the league.

For the Heat, pulling off a win on the road would extend their winning run to four games.

Miami coming off a 111-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks with Gabe Vincent and Bam Adebayo leading the charge.

"What I do commend and what you want out of a team is growing from your experiences, particularly if you have some tough times, adversity," Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said. "The grit that we're developing is that even when there are some uneven times during the course of a game, we understand that it's a long game. You have to work the game. You try to wear on teams, particularly defensively."

Vincent topped the Heat with 27 points along with five steals, whereas Adebayo had a double-double performance with 20 markers and 13 boards.

Offensively, the Heat are ranked dead-last in points per game with a 108.8. However, their defense has been holding up, owning a 110.9 rating that puts them at the No. 8 spot in the league.

Oddsmakers pick the Heat as -1 spread favorites to prevail over the Hawks, who are +1.

The game will be telecast over TNT at 3:30 PM ET with live streaming also available via fuboTV.
