Episode 14 of "Attack on Titan" Season 4 was delayed due to an earthquake that hit Japan just after midnight Sunday.

The airing of the episode on NHK was interrupted to broadcast the emergency news of the magnitude 4.7 earthquake that hit the Wakayama Prefecture at 12.26 a.m. local time (11.26 a.m. ET, Sunday).

The official Twitter account of NHK Anime tweeted about the broadcast change of "Attack on Titan" Season 4, Episode 14. The new release date is not yet out.

The news coverage started airing in the middle of "Attack on Titan" Season 4, Episode 14, Anime News Network reported.

Funimation and Crunchyroll also informed the fans about the delay of the live stream.

"Attack on Titan fans, heads up! Due to an earthquake in Japan, Attack on Titan Final Season episode 73 will not be airing today. We'll keep you all updated on the new release date as we know more. Note: The English dub of episode 68 will still be released later today, as usual," Funimation tweeted.

"Attack on Titan Final Season episode 73 will be postponed, due to an earthquake that occurred in Wakayama prefecture in Japan. We are sending our love to the residents there," Crunchyroll tweeted.

"Attack on Titan" Season 4, Episode 14 revolves around Armin and Mikasa confronting Eren about his trip to Marley that resulted in countless deaths. Meanwhile, Gabi is still in shock after Kaya's surprise knife attack to kill her.

Elsewhere, Eren wants to talk to Armin and Mikasa about Zeke. The series is heading toward its finale. However, it remains to be seen if this delay will change the schedule of Episode 15 and 16.

The cast of "Attack on Titan," which is also called "Shingeki no Kyojin," includes Yuuki Kaji as Eren Jaeger, Yui Ishikawa as Mikasa Ackermann, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Reiner Braun, Takehito Koyasu as Zeke, Marina Inoue as Armin Arlelt, Natsuki Hanae as Falco Grice, Manami Numakura as Pieck, Ayane Sakura as Gabi Braun, Toshiki Masuda as Porco Galliard, Yumi Kawashima as Zofia, Ayumu Murase as Udo and Masaya Matsukaze as Colt Grice.

"Attack on Titan" Season 4 episodes air Sundays. Funimation and Crunchyroll will simulcast the episodes.
