Yet another heartwarming news from “The Avengers” star Chris Hemsworth, whose superhero film has smashed a number of box office records in just twelve days after its release in the US.

Hemsworth became a father!

His wife Elsa Pataky, 35, gave birth to a baby girl, their first child together, in a London hospital Friday, according to US Weekly.

Hemsworth and Pataky were much “delighted and excited” when they announced the pregnancy back in January this year and have named their newborn daughter — India Rose.

The Aussie actor, 28, and his “Fast Five” fame Spanish actress wife first met in early 2010 and married the same year.

“Having the person that you love by your side, and starting a family with them, is the best thing that can happen to you in this life,” Pataky had told Hola! magazine before the childbirth.

She's so proud of Chris and he's proud of her, a source close to the couple told the daily. They are an adorable family already!

Unlike other expectant celebrity couples, Chris and Elsa wanted to keep the gender of the child a surprise.

We will not know the sex of the baby, prefer to be a surprise,” the couple said in an interview with the magazine in January. “Since it's our first child, we don't care if it's a boy or a girl, our only wish is that it's healthy.”

“I'm only going to speak to the baby in Spanish. I already told my husband, 'Get ready fast with Spanish because, if not, you're not going to be able to understand what we say,” Pataky told the magazine.

The balance of this first year of marriage is wonderful, has been a constant honeymoon. I feel very fortunate to have found the person that completes me,” she had said of her wonderful marriage life with Chris.

“You can’t ask for more,” said Pataky.
