Bebe Rexha has revealed why she was not actively sharing photos and videos on social media. The singer said she has been struggling with her body weight.

"So, it is the holidays, and I know we're all supposed to be merry and like, 'Yay, it's the holidays!,' which I am ish," the 32-year-old singer said in a TikTok video Monday, which was later shared on Twitter by a user.

"I think I am the heaviest I've ever been. I weighed myself just now, and I don't feel comfortable sharing the weight 'cause I feel embarrassed," she explained in the video. "Not just about that. I just feel like disgusting, you know, in my own body."

The singer further explained that she avoided posting frequently on social media last year because she didn't feel good in her own skin anymore.

"I think all the body positivity that stems from me is probably from a place of hurt or confusion of like how to help myself anymore or how to love myself," she said, before adding, "This is the end of the video and I don't even know what I'm saying anymore" with a cracking voice.

This is not the first time Rexha has opened up about her body image. She had earlier spoken about how people often body shame others and why numbers on the weighing scale don't define anyone.

"Honestly, just do you. Wear that bathing suit. Wear that bikini. Even if you gained those five pounds or you lost too much weight, or you have the stretch marks, wear the bikini," Rexha said when she appeared on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" in 2019. "Who cares. Who cares. You're gonna look back in 10 years and say, 'Wow, I was so hot.'"

On the work front, Rexha was recently featured in the comedy movie "Queenpins," which was dropped on Sept. 10. The movie was directed by Gita Pullapilly and Aron Gaudet. It also starred Kristen Bell, Vince Vaughn, Joel McHale and Kirby Howell-Baptiste.
