As midterm elections approach, President Joe Biden will appear in New Hampshire to discuss his one trillion-dollar infrastructure bill and its benefits to supply chain woes.

According to the Associated Press, the law incorporates $17 billion to help improve and upgrade ports around the United States as the COVID-19 Pandemic continues to cause trouble for supply chains worldwide.

Biden is heading to New Hampshire to tout the $1.7 million from the infrastructure bill that would be used at Portsmouth Harbor, the only deep-water harbor in the state. The money will be used to help dredge the shipping channel and basin.

Prior to his departure for New Hampshire, the White House hosted a call with allies such as Canada, France, the United Kingdom and more to talk through the crisis in Ukraine. Washington indicated on Monday that it will invoke more sanctions on Russia due to its prolonged violence.

Earlier this month, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Austrian chancellor Karl Nehammer flew into Ukraine as a symbol of unity with Ukraine. Both Austria and the U.K. have provided humanitarian aid to the Eastern European country, such as defense resources.
