“Big Bang Theory” Season 12, episode 3 will see Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) talking about having children in the future.

In “The Procreation Calculation,” the couple in the hit CBS sitcom ask each other some questions about their marriage. One of the things that Leonard asks Penny is about having kids. Penny tells Leonard that the idea of having children sounds fine with her. But it’s obvious that she’s not ecstatic about it.

The network dropped a teaser for Thursday night’s installment, which shows Penny talking to Amy (Mayim Bialik) regarding the discussion she had with Leonard. Penny tells her best friend that she may not want to have kids, and Amy said that she understands why Penny may think like this.

But she also hilariously reminded Penny of what they discussed before about breastfeeding each other’s babies. Penny tells Amy that she doesn’t think it’s something that she can forget that easily.

Elsewhere in episode 3, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) face some problems regarding their housemate Stuart (Kevin Sussman). The latter starts bringing his girlfriend to Howard and Bernadette’s home. Howard and Bernadette don’t like the fact that they don’t seem to have any privacy especially now that they already have two children.

Also in this week’s episode, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) expresses his desire to have a girlfriend. He gives his dad and call and ask him to set up an arranged marriage for him. In one of the teasers released ahead of the installment, Raj tells his friends about his plan to have an arranged marriage.

Some of them ask him if he really thinks arranged marriages will work. He said that there’s nothing wrong with it because he will not be wasting his time on someone that he’s not compatible with. This statement caused Penny and Leonard to think about their marriage.

Leonard wants to prove that he knows his wife really well, but when Raj asks him what Penny’s dream vacation is, he gave out a wrong answer.

“Big Bang Theory” Season 12 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
