‘Black Clover’ Chapter 273 Spoilers, How To Read Online: Asta And Liebe’s Possible Union

Asta vows to save Captain Yami and Liebe determines to avenge Licita’s death. The declarations seem to spark something that may result in Asta and Liebe unleashing their new form in "Black Clover" Chapter 273.

With their backs against the wall, Asta and Liebe need to stick together and unravel their true potential. The final panel of the previous chapter hints at a possible union of some kind. The last panel shows Asta’s eyeball transforming as Nacht appears shocked.

"Black Clover" Chapter 272 Recap

Titled "Dark Prison Hunting Ground," the chapter starts with Yuno meeting Langris. Yuno addresses him as “former Vice-Captain Langris” and the latter doesn’t seem to appreciate Yuno’s nasty manners.

Later, Langris asks Yuno about his noisy spirit, Bell. Yuno reveals that Bell’s holed up in his grimoire right now. Yuno, however, remains clueless about the real reason behind Langris’ arrival.

Turns out, Langris wants to help Yuno train before he fights someone like Zenon. Since Langris has Spatial Magic, Yuno could use him as an opponent for his training session.

However, Yuno instantly turns down his offer but realizes that it is the Gold Dawn’s problem and Langris is stronger than before. He decides to seek Langris’ help in getting him stronger ahead of the big battle.

Elsewhere, Asta and Liebe continue to lose countless battle rounds against Nacht and his Packs.

Asta realizes that Nacht is unbelievably powerful and they can’t seem to find a way to beat the Vice-Captain. Moreover, Nacht is not even using his full potential confirming the power of Devil Union is unmatched. Asta wonders why he and Liebe are failing to unite. The next few pages show Yuki Tabata’s hilarious writing as Liebe and Asta munch down cookies made by the Spade Kingdom Resistance Members. The cookies seem to help Asta come up with an idea to “combine.”

He asks Liebe to sit on his shoulders as Asta yells, “combine,” in an attempt to initiate Devil Union. Nacht looks disappointed and announces that it is time for them to die. The Vice-Captain unleashes Mana Zone: Dark Prison Hunting Ground spell and the room goes pitch black.

The shadows continue to attack Asta and Liebe. Asta cannot sense their Ki and realizes that death is creeping up on him from the darkness. However, he cannot die yet as he needs to rescue his mentor, Captain Yami. Moreover, he cannot let his friend, Liebe die too.
