They’re preparing for a nasty custody battle over their son. Now, when Bill learns about the new step Katie and Thorne are taking to strengthen their case against him, he will become more livid than ever before on the Tuesday, Sept. 18 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

With Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) encouraging her, Katie (Heather Tom) decided to file for full custody of Will (Finnegan George) on the CBS soap. Since then, it has become a tense situation, as Bill (Don Diamont) tries to fight her on it, adamant that he wants to rebuild the relationship with his son. However, now that Katie and Thorne are also engaged, it will potentially make the case against Bill even tougher to fight, and when he learns about what’s going on, he’ll become enraged.

He may wind up not learning the news from Katie herself, as she and Thorne will still be celebrating their plans for a life together. Instead, Bill’s biggest enemy, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) may be the one to deliver the news, since he has been the biggest champion of the custody battle. Regardless of who shares the information though, Bill will be quickly angered, because he refuses to let anyone else have any say in how his son is raised—especially a Forrester man.

“There is no way in hell I’m going to let Thorne have a say in my son’s life,” he shouts in a preview clip for the episode.

Bill has been hopeful from the beginning that he could get the case dropped, mainly because he does have a secret ally on his side in Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). She has insisted that Will needs his father in his life, and has offered to try and work on Katie and convince her to back off, but without success thus far. Now, as Bill potentially starts trying to look for ways to make the case work in his favor, he will receive a warning from Justin (Aaron Spears) about what he needs to focus on if he wants the best possible outcome.

“The best option is for Brooke to convince Katie not to go through with this case,” he says in the clip.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
