She was as shocked as Liam was when Hope insisted that he end their marriage so he could reunite with Steffy and be a father to the two babies she is raising. Now, in an effort to try and help the couple repair their marriage as they grieve their daughter’s death, Steffy will make an unexpected decision about her future on the Tuesday, March 13 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) have been worried about Hope’s (Annika Noelle) behavior since Beth’s death, and were more alarmed when she insisted Liam be with his former wife and be a father not only to his actual daughter, Kelly but Steffy’s adopted baby, Phoebe. Liam seemed to calm her down on the CBS soap and their marriage seems to be back on track, but Steffy is still worried about the effect her new baby has on Hope since the little girl is the same age Beth would have been. Now, she may decide she needs to take action that forces Hope to move on from her grief and focus on her marriage to Liam.

“Liam and Hope are stunned to learn of Steffy’s future plans,” spoilers reveal.

Steffy will reveal to the couple that she plans to leave town for a little while and head to Paris to work at International—and she’s taking the babies with her. While her intentions may be good, the news could feel like a slap in the face to Hope at first, since she feels so connected to Phoebe and loves being around her.

Of course, what no one realizes is that there’s a reason why Hope feels so connected to the baby—since Phoebe is actually Beth. Because she feels so connected to her and has admitted in the past that spending time with her helps her move past her grief over Beth’s death, and the baby is actually hers even if neither she nor Steffy knows it, the decision to take her to Paris for a while be more emotionally devastating than anything else.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
