Taylor is insistent that Hope should be with Thomas and Douglas so Steffy can reunite with Liam, and now, as Brooke learns that she plans to find a way to make that happen, she will become enraged by Ridge’s lack of anger as well on the Tuesday, April 2 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has figured out that Taylor (Hunter Tylo) wants Hope (Annika Douglas) to be with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) so she can help him out with Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) in the wake of Caroline’s (Linsey Godfrey) death on the CBS soap. However, that would also require Hope to end her marriage to Liam (Scott Clifton), which would conveniently free him up to be with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) again, something Taylor wants very much.

However, as she puts the pieces together and realizes what her enemy is up to, Brooke may find herself angry at someone else instead—as Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) doesn’t seem to share her outrage.

“Ridge irks Brooke when he refuses to blame Taylor for wanting what’s best for Steffy,” spoilers reveal.

Though Ridge did tell Taylor he thought her plan wasn’t a good one and agreed with Brooke that Hope and Liam still need time to heal together following their daughter Beth’s death, Brooke will become irritated when he admits he can see where Taylor is coming from when it comes to her intentions.

Taylor wants Steffy to be happy and doesn’t believe her daughter really is since she is raising two little girls alone without a husband, and she wants Liam back in that marriage. When Ridge admits that he too wants what is best for Steffy, Brooke could take it as him stating that he also feels the marriage to Hope should end—which will put another intense strain on their marriage as a result.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
