Chou-Chou and Inojin get acquainted with a former Nukenin while on a mission in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 256.

The ex-Nukenin named Kumano Shingo is also an owner of a ramen shop. Inojin and Chou-Chou have decided to help Kumano make some ramen. The duo agrees to review Kumano's existing ramen. They tell him it is not bad but not exactly great, according to the official synopsis of Episode 256, titled "The Ultimate Recipe."

He asks Chou-Chou and Inojin to give him suggestions to improve the taste of his product. Meanwhile, Kumano is a hard worker and wants to develop a new menu for his ramen shop.

Will he be able to achieve his goal and come up with lip-smacking dishes?

After handling the Land of Water crisis, Team 7 returns to Konohagakure. The titles of the upcoming "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode suggest the storyline will focus on the Uzumaki family. Boruto has been away from the village and this time he will get a chance to bond with Naruto and the others.

The new opening theme song is titled "Kirarirari" and is performed by KANA-BOON. The closing theme of the anime is titled "Bibou Rock" by Lenny code fiction.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 256 is scheduled to air this Sunday. Fans can live stream the episode online on Crunchyroll. The new episode will release in Japanese with English subtitles.
