Brad Pitt made a shocking announcement amid the rumors that he had a secret weekend getaway and wedding with Jennifer Aniston.

The “Ad Astra” actor revealed a shocking statement about his career. Pitt is not retiring but might stop appearing in front of the camera.

Speaking at the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” premiere, Pitt was asked if he had ever considered retiring. He said that he doesn’t know, but he enjoys doing other things and takes less and less acting projects.

“I think that one day I’ll just wake up and organically it’ll be done. Maybe I won’t wake up and that’s why it’ll be done,” Pitt said.

“I’m behind the camera on the producing side and I enjoy that a lot. But I keep doing less and less. I really believe that overall it’s a younger man’s game – not that there aren’t substantial parts for older characters – I just feel, the game itself, it’ll move on naturally. There will be a natural selection to it all.”

Pitt is still romantically linked to his first ex-wife, Aniston. Just recently, there were reports claiming that the two had a secret weekend getaway in Santa, Barbara, California. The ex-couple reportedly stayed at his beach house.

An insider said that ever since Pitt showed up at the “Murder Mystery” star’s 50th birthday bash, they have been “meeting up on the sly.” The source added that they wanted to go on dates like any normal couple but couldn’t make it because people would surely recognize them.

There are also rumors claiming that Pitt and Aniston have renewed their wedding vows at his backyard. Pitt’s six children with Angelina Jolie were reportedly there and his close pal George Clooney was his best man.

Another insider said that Clooney wanted Pitt to be happy and that means getting back with Aniston. The “Money Monster” actor reportedly arranged a private villa for Pitt and Aniston in Rome. Clooney arranged everything and made it appear that the villa was for his parents to avoid making a buzz.

However, one should take all of those reports with a grain of salt. Both Pitt and Aniston’s reps said that they didn’t get back together.
