“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” was released in Aug. 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. The game is now approaching its second season, but it seems that fans are now talking bout a new mode coming to the game. Based on a plethora of leaks, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” might introduce the Battle Royale Mode very soon.

Season 2 Cinematic Hinting Battle Royale Mode

The team behind “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” recently dropped the game’s season 2 cinematic. Eagle-eyed fans easily saw several scenes, which to them, already give away that the Battle Royale Mode is coming to the game. There is one scene where soldiers parachute their way out of the plane, which could be a hint. Another scene showing a green gas could be an indication of how the shrinking circle of death would be like in the new mode.

Battle Royale Menu Screen

Reddit user ARedWerewolf shared several images that were taken when “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” glitched out. Both images reveal the title Warzone located in the upper left portion. This aligns with the recently leaked key art. The other image offers how players could customize loadouts going into a fight. There is also a Weapons tab on the recently discovered menu that comes with watch Select, Edit Drop Kits, and Armory sections.

Key Art

Another  Reddit  user recently shared a key art for the alleged Battle Royale Mode of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.” The key art shows Ghost standing on a crashed helicopter while surrounded by a team. On the topmost part of the image is the title Call of Duty warzone. The post was deleted and could no longer be found on the game’s subreddit.

Another important discovery about “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” was shared on Twitter by user PrestigeIsKey. According to the “COD” player, players can see the entire map if they go to Atlas Superstore during a private match and become a caster. He added that he flew up in the sky to get the entire view of the map, which he shared on the social networking site.

At the time of this publishing, nothing was officially announced about the Battle Royale Mode of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.” While these leaks could be strong indications that the mode is indeed coming, we suggest not to get too excited at this point.
